A few thingsā¦
Traditional therapy grew inside the same systems people were trying to heal from.
It wasnāt built to question those systems.
It was built to help people adjust, cope, and function within them.
That shaped the process.
What got attention.
What got named.
What went unseen.
So surviving inside unsafe systems often became something to diagnose instead of understand and resist.
And many people learned how to talk about their pain while their bodies coped and kept carrying it.
