Personal touch that makes a home feels ours 🐶🐴🍳

A little soft update for my home today —

because small décor really does change the whole vibe ✨

🍳 EGG RUG

I’m a hardcore egg lover (boiled, fried, omelette — all also can 😆).

So instead of a normal rug… I hunted down an EGG one.

Cute, soft, and honestly looks good enough to eat (but I won’t lah HAHA).

🐴 HORSE PILLOW

Chose this because my hubby’s zodiac is the Horse.

A little symbolism on our sofa — adds meaning + style.

🐶 DOG CUSHION

And this represents me, the wifey — Zodiac Dog!

It’s playful, cosy and makes the whole sofa setup feel more “us”.

☁️ SOFT RUG + MUJI CUSHIONS

Our living room corner has become the coziest spot ever.

Neutral tones + soft textures = instant calm vibes.

All items are super affordable, comfy, and easy to style —

perfect for anyone building a warm, soft aesthetic home 🫶✨

For example, the inclusion of unique items like an egg-shaped rug can introduce a playful and charming element to any room, while also being soft and comfortable underfoot. This kind of whimsical home accessory can be both a conversation starter and a delightful visual centerpiece. In addition, incorporating zodiac-themed cushions, such as a horse pillow representing a loved one’s zodiac sign and a dog cushion symbolizing another’s, brings meaningful symbolism into your everyday environment. These items not only add personality but also strengthen the emotional connection you have with your home. Zodiac décor resonates with many people looking to blend style with personal significance. Complementing these items with neutral-toned soft rugs and cushions from popular brands like MUJI can help balance the space. Neutral colors and soft textures create a calming atmosphere, making the living room corner an inviting spot for relaxation and bonding. This blend of subtle tones and playful accents achieves an aesthetic that is both stylish and cozy. Many of these accessories are affordable and easy to style, making them accessible options for anyone wishing to build a warm, personal space without overwhelming complexity. When selecting soft furnishings, consider materials that feel comfortable, are durable, and coordinate well with your existing décor. If you enjoy finding unique pieces, platforms like Taobao can be a treasure trove of creative décor ideas, from handmade horse-shaped pillows to cute dog cushions and imaginative rugs. These affordable finds allow you to customize your home without breaking the bank, offering variety and style tailored to your taste. Overall, small thoughtful touches like these not only enhance the visual appeal of your space but also make your home feel more inviting and authentic. By combining symbolic elements with soft furnishings and playful designs, you can create an atmosphere that is both personal and comforting, perfect for everyday living.

What if home felt like stepping into a park?
I wanted a third place that sits between inside and outside. That’s how The Park was conceptualised. I arranged my living space like a landscape. Urban materials; gravel-like tiles, a water-like glass bench. A rug that reads like terrain. My plants softening the edges. It’s enclosed, b
