You are a Phoenix. Nothing stays broken forever.

This is a piece from my first book, “Light Up the Darkness: Reclaiming Your Voice” available on Amazon.

https://a.co/d/ehc5V6I

This book is for anyone who has been silenced, hidden, or felt forgotten.

Remember this: no one silences something with nothing to say.

If you want to find your voice and strength again, please read my book.

It is interactive with questions and space to write and dig into your own memories, dreams and internal thoughts.

Two black and white portraits of River Phoenix are displayed. The left shows him in a plaid blanket, and the right is a close-up of his face. Below are quotes about him carrying the world's weight and inspiring thought.

A black and white portrait of River Phoenix with slicked-back hair, looking to the right. A black bar across his eyes reads, "Halloween will never be the same to me again."

A color photo shows River Phoenix holding yellow sunflowers, with other people in the background. Below the image, a quote describes "wild souls" as shooting stars that burn bright and are gone too soon.

A woman applies black eyeliner to her upper waterline, demonstrating a tightlining technique. The image features text overlays "the trick no one talks about..." and "TIGHT-LINING 101," highlighting the makeup tutorial.

Four panels illustrate the first two steps of tightlining: warming a waterproof gel liner on the hand and then drying the waterline with a Q-tip, as demonstrated by a woman.

Four panels show the final steps of tightlining: breathing in to prevent watering, gently applying liner to the upper lashline, a before-and-after comparison, and setting the liner with matte black eyeshadow.

Tightline that actually stays 👀🖤

if your tightline never stays, this is the fix 👀 it’s one of those makeup steps that looks simple, but if you skip the prep, it smudges right away. start by drying your waterline (trust me, it makes a huge difference), then go in with a waterproof gel liner and set it with black shadow. i als

MUSIC STAYS FOREVER ✨☁️🎶songs I will never outgrow

Some songs you never outgrow… years later they still make your heart race, your soul sing, and your fire burn. 💘 I Feel Love – Donna Summer: Such a vibe. That disco groove, that pulse. It was all the early spark of what would become house music, and it still hits just right. 🔥 Maniac – Michae

A person holds a tablet displaying text from a book, with the overlay 'If you Feel lost Read this'. The background shows a cozy living room with a Christmas tree and a TV, suggesting a relaxing reading environment.

The book cover for 'Beautiful World, Where Are You?' by Sally Rooney is centered, surrounded by text bubbles describing it as an 'existential crisis wrapped in stunning writing,' 'lost but not alone,' and 'deep, thoughtful & real.'

The book cover for 'Alone With You in the Ether' by Olivie Blake is displayed, with text bubbles highlighting its 'intense, poetic, and deeply introspective' nature, 'messy but meaningful love,' and 'mental health = handled raw.'

Books to read when you feel lost

I still feel lost sometimes. And that’s totally OK. At least, these books told me so. There are moments when life just feels… uncertain. Maybe you’re questioning your choices, feeling disconnected, or just wondering "what now?" These books don’t fix things, but they make you feel seen. T
