Where is your heart?

Are you seeking God’s face or His hand?

What are you praying for? All of our desires that are about toxic ambition and self righteousness won’t matter when we die. But we will be judged based on the posture of our hearts. Your investments, your business, your career, your likes, your followers, and your money won’t save you; not even your morals will save you.

Deal with your heart and ask God to do the same for you. Wrong out your heart of all of that hyper and toxic ambition. Your success won’t matter.

Many people pursue success, wealth, and social validation, but these pursuits can lead to a hollow existence if they are not aligned with a deeper spiritual purpose. The act of praying is not simply about asking for things; it’s about recognizing God’s presence in our lives and making space for Him in our hearts. To pray effectively, one must first introspect and assess their true motivations—are they seeking God's face for guidance, or merely His hand for blessings? The Bible teaches that our hearts dictate our actions, reflecting our true priorities. We are reminded in scriptures that when we seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, everything else will fall into place (Matthew 6:33). This truth emphasizes the need to prioritize our spiritual lives over material pursuits. Moreover, toxic ambition can lead to burnout and dissatisfaction. Instead of striving for external validation, individuals should focus on internal growth and alignment with God’s plan. Cultivating virtues such as humility, compassion, and patience can transform our hearts and grant us a sense of peace that worldly accomplishments cannot provide. In conclusion, self-reflection on our desires and intentions is vital. By actively seeking God's heart and allowing Him to shape our ambitions, we can find true fulfillment and purpose, ultimately leading to a richer, more satisfying life.
