... Read moreWaiting on God can often feel like an endless pause, a season marked by uncertainty and impatience, much like the feelings expressed in this heartfelt reflection. It's natural to crave quick progress and visible results when following a spiritual path, especially when you believe you are doing what’s right. But from personal experience, I have learned that the periods of waiting are not just idle moments; they are times for deeper growth and preparation. One perspective that helped me was embracing the promise from Isaiah 40:31: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” This scripture shifted my focus from the frustration of delay to the opportunity for renewal. It reminded me that waiting is an act of trust—choosing to believe in God’s timing rather than my own. During these times, it’s helpful to examine whether the impatience comes from a desire to control outcomes or a fear of stagnation. By releasing this need for control, I have discovered a more peaceful attitude and a readiness to learn from the process rather than only the results. This shift in mindset doesn't make the wait shorter, but it does transform how I experience it. Engaging daily practices such as prayer, meditation on scripture, or journaling about your spiritual journey can keep your faith active and your heart anchored. This consistent connection encourages patience and steadily builds resilience. If you’re struggling with similar feelings of delay, remember you are not alone. Community support—whether through fellow believers, trusted mentors, or even inspirational e-books—can provide encouragement and guidance. This shared experience often gives strength to continue faithfully where individual efforts may falter. Ultimately, what felt like a slow pace was God’s way of building something deeper and more enduring within me, something that wouldn't be possible without time. Waiting on God isn’t just about the external outcomes; it’s about the internal transformation that happens while you wait.
