As a busy woman (and sometimes a mother myself!), I've often found myself yearning for deeper spiritual connection, but without much time for extensive study. From watching over baby Moses in the reeds to leading the women in triumphant worship, Miriam's life teaches us about resilience and using our gifts to celebrate God's work. For me, studying Miriam has been a reminder that even when things are tough, there's always a reason to sing and to lead by example. Mothers often find themselves in leadership roles within their families and communities, and Miriam's story encourages us to embrace that calling with confidence and joy, advocating for what is right just as she did. And let's not forget Esther, also known as Hadassah. Her story is a masterclass in courage, favor, and destiny. Her standing for what is right, even at great personal risk, and her reliance on divine favor to save her people, is profoundly inspiring.
