Noonday Word: You Are Chosen 🌿
Just in case doubt, hurt, or disappointment tries to creep in today — or today feels heavier than expected — this is for you.
Ephesians 1 reminds us that God chose you before the foundation of the world —
before every mistake, criticism, heartbreak, and failure.
That means:
✨ Your pain doesn’t cancel your purpose
✨ Your struggle doesn’t erase your identity
Your worth isn’t tied to people.
It’s tied to the One who chose and equipped you.
You’re not becoming worthy.
You already are.
Walk into the rest of your day like it.
Save this for later and follow for daily scripture + prayer.
Many days, I find myself weighed down by self-doubt or the heavy feelings brought on by challenges. Reading reminders like those in Ephesians 1 has helped me shift my focus from the temporary struggles to the eternal truth that I was chosen by God before anything else happened in my life. It’s freeing to realize that my worth is not defined by mistakes, others’ opinions, or even my own failures, but by God's deliberate choice and His purpose for me. When I remember that my pain doesn’t cancel my purpose, I can keep moving forward even through difficult days. This also means that identity isn’t tied to external circumstances or setbacks—my identity has already been established through God’s love and calling. I’ve come to understand that striving to become worthy is unnecessary because worthiness is a gift already given. Living with this perspective transforms how I respond to hardships. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by doubt or criticism, I find strength to stand firm knowing I am equipped and chosen by God. I encourage others to save this truth as a daily reminder: your struggles don’t erase who you are, and your worth comes from the One who created and equipped you. Walking in this truth has brought me peace, hope, and the courage to face each day with confidence and faith.
