🌅 Morning Prayer – Ruth 1:7

Bethlehem, meaning "House of Bread," reminds us of God's provision, while Judah represents praise, illustrating how worship and trust in God's timing are interconnected. In my own experience, life often mirrors Ruth's story—moments when circumstances force us away from the spiritual places and practices that once nourished us. It’s easy to feel distant from God during dry seasons or struggles, much like Ruth when she left Bethlehem. However, this prayer encourages us to return, to come back to God’s presence and provision, where true nourishment lies. The "garment of praise" mentioned in the prayer image resonates deeply with me. It symbolizes the protective and beautifying power of gratitude and worship, which can dismantle negativity and falsehoods in our lives. Wearing this garment daily changes our perspective and aligns our heart’s focus with God's glory.
