I've personally experienced moments when emotions clouded my perspective, making it difficult to see beyond temporary pain or doubt. In those times, recalling the promise in John 8:32—"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free"—has been a profound source of peace and transformation. Choosing truth over feelings is not always easy. Our emotions can scream louder than logic, tempting us to believe lies about ourselves and our circumstances. However, consistently turning to Scripture and prayer helps retrain our minds to align with God’s promises rather than the shifting tides of emotion. This practice opens the door to true healing because it frees us from the bondage of negative self-beliefs and spiritual deception.
