Wellness Habits
🧘 Habit 1: be kind
🧘 How It Helps Me: builds tolerance
🧘 Habit 2: forgive
🧘 How It Helps Me: gives me peace
🧘 Habit 3: walk away
🧘 How It Helps Me: keeps me from returning to prison /Springfield
In my personal journey towards wellbeing, I have found that embracing simple yet profound habits can make a huge difference in daily life. The practice of being kind is not just about being nice but developing tolerance to others' flaws and situations. It nurtures empathy, making stressful interactions easier to handle. Forgiveness is another vital tool. Holding onto grudges only causes internal turmoil, whereas forgiving helps release negativity and fosters peace of mind. This has been especially helpful in reducing anxiety and improving my relationships. Lastly, learning when to walk away from harmful environments or toxic relationships has been crucial. For me, this has meant avoiding situations that threaten my mental health or freedom, as highlighted by the wise choice to walk away where necessary. For example, the mention of "Springfield" reminds me that sometimes physical distance is necessary to prevent recurring negative patterns. Incorporating these wellness habits aligns well with the biblical advice in Hebrews 12:14: "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone." This scripture encourages striving for peace through active effort, which these habits clearly support. By integrating kindness, forgiveness, and healthy boundaries into everyday life, anyone can move towards a more peaceful and balanced existence.
