Because your contingency plan needs a contingency plan. Never put all your eggs in one basket. Put your items on as many platforms as you can.
The way majority ppl brains are designed, it’s if someone else says it’s cool to do something or they post they bought something then 9/10 more will follow suit, hence why ppl hire influencers.
Now you have ppl like myself who don’t give a hoot who like or doing what if we like it or think it’s a good fit we’re going to do it and not wait to follow the next. We are the next/trend!
Now on Pinterest and Etsy these items get more views and traction. On Facebook just a lot of I’m “interested” but no follow up. No actual purchase sometimes. So if you limit yourself to one platform, you are definitely missing out on money.
More platforms you use, more eyes to see your item. Keep posting, stay consistent. They see you. They just waiting on somebody else to support so they can follow. Idk why, that’s just the way it is.
