📃Doodlebob with pencil stand✏️
🫓Since Doodlebob has a pretty flat body, it can’t stand on its own🕴️. So we came up with the idea of using the very pencil that created him as a stand to support him💡.
😎We’re honestly really proud of this idea—it just makes so much sense! 🛶The pencil originally fell from the surface of the water, so we kept it in that stuck-in-the-ground position🪧🕳️. Plus, since the pencil is literally what brought Doodlebob to life, using it to help him stand feels like the perfect choice🥰.
👏The process of making Doodlebob was pretty tedious—about 80% of the time was spent on sanding and refining details⚙️. Instead of just drawing his outline, we actually sculpted raised clay borders around his body, kind of like a 3D relief effect, to give him more depth and dimension👀. And to make it look clean and precise, every single edge of the outlines had to be carefully sanded by hand🙌.
