Skateboard Build Competition – Part 5 🔥
Part 5 of the skateboard build competition is live and the board is really starting to come together. In this video I finally have the deck fully painted with a split background design — half red and half black. The contrast on this thing looks insane and really makes the artwork pop.
I also show the process of applying the first clear coat to seal everything in. Once the paint was finished I brought the board outside and laid down the clear so it can start curing and getting that smooth glossy finish. This is the stage where everything starts to feel real and the board begins looking like a finished piece instead of just a sketch.
