Ingredients needed!

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

• 1/2 cup milk

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• A pinch of salt

Mix Dry Ingredients: whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt
Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, beat the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter or oil (if using).
