We choose to go to Salad Falls because we have arrived. It's two in the afternoon. The next round will go to collect the black lady cliff and the hat head.

ถ้าใครกำลังเสิร์ชคำว่า “น้ำตกสลัดได” แล้วลังเลว่าจะไปยากไหม ขอสรุปจากประสบการณ์แบบคนชอบธรรมชาติแต่ไม่ได้ฟิตระดับนักกีฬา: ไปได้จริง และเหมาะมากกับการ “ลองเดินป่า/ซ้อมเทรล” ใกล้กรุงเทพฯ เพราะเส้นทางค่อนข้างชัด มีป้ายบอกทางตลอด และระหว่างทางจะเจอคนวิ่งเทรลผ่านไปมาเรื่อยๆ ทำให้รู้สึกอุ่นใจ ไม่เปลี่ยวค่ะ ภาพรวมเส้นทางไปน้ำตกสลัดได (หุบเขาตีนไก่) จะเป็นทางดินสลับหิน มีทั้งช่วงชันขึ้นเนิน ช่วงราบ และช่วงลงเขา ครบทุกฟีล ระยะทางไป-กลับประมาณ 5 กม. ถ้าเป็นมือใหม่ แนะนำให้คุมจังหวะตั้งแต่กิโลแรก เพราะช่วงต้นจะเหนื่อยนิดนึงจากทางดันเนิน พอเริ่มจับจังหวะได้แล้วจะเดินสนุกขึ้นเรื่อยๆ สิ่งที่อยากแนะนำเป็นพิเศษคือ “น้ำดื่มและของกิน” แม้บางวันจะมีร้านขายน้ำ/อาหารตามจุด แต่ไม่ควรหวังพึ่ง 100% (เคยเจอวันไปแล้วร้านปิดเหมือนกัน) ทางที่ดีพกน้ำอย่างน้อย 1–1.5 ลิตร/คน หรือมีเกลือแร่ติดไว้ เผื่อเดินช่วงแดดแรงจะได้ไม่หมดแรงกลางทาง รองเท้าควรเป็นรองเท้าผ้าใบที่เกาะพื้นดีหรือรองเท้าเทรล เพราะมีโขดหินและทางลื่นบางช่วง โดยเฉพาะถ้าหน้าน้ำเยอะ เรื่องเวลาไปเที่ยว: ถ้าจะเน้นถ่ายรูปสวยๆ แนะนำไปเช้าหน่อย แสงกำลังดีและไม่ร้อนมาก แต่ถ้าไปบ่ายก็ยังเดินได้ เพียงแต่อย่าช้าเกินไป ควรกะเวลากลับก่อนฟ้ามืด และเช็กสภาพอากาศล่วงหน้า เพราะฝนตกอาจทำให้หินลื่น น้ำเชี่ยวขึ้น ไฮไลต์ที่ชอบคือถึงน้ำตกแล้วคุ้มมาก น้ำตกสลัดไดไหลเป็นชั้นๆ มีโขดหินให้นั่งพัก ถ่ายรูปได้หลายมุม ใครอยากได้ภาพน้ำตกนุ่มๆ แบบลองชัตเตอร์ แนะนำพกขาตั้งเล็กๆ หรือใช้โหมดสปีดชัตเตอร์ต่ำ (ถ้ามี) แต่ต้องระวังละอองน้ำโดนเลนส์ด้วยนะคะ ระหว่างทางยังมีอะไรให้ดูเพลินๆ เช่น ลำธาร โขดหิน และบางช่วงอาจเจอเห็ดป่าหน้าตาน่ารัก (ดูได้ แต่อย่าเก็บ/อย่ากินสุ่มสี่สุ่มห้านะ) สรุปคือ “น้ำตกสลัดได นครนายก” เป็นทริปสั้นๆ ที่ได้ทั้งเดินป่า ออกกำลัง และรูปสวยกลับบ้าน เหมาะกับคนอยากเริ่มต้นสายธรรมชาติแบบไม่โหดเกินไปค่ะ
