Colombia is known for its diverse and flavorful cuisine, influenced by its rich culture and geography. Some of the standout dishes I experienced during my visit include Salchipapa, a popular street food combining French fries with various toppings, which I rated 8/10 for its tasty yet indulgent nature. Another highlight was Oblea, a sweet treat made of two thin wafers filled with arequipe (caramel) and topped with fresh strawberries, earning a perfect score of 10/10. The richness of Colombian desserts is something to savor, as I found with the Gelato, also rated 9/10 for its creamy texture. Furthermore, Sancocho, a traditional soup made with chicken, meat, rice, and avocado, stood out with another top score of 10/10, showcasing the heartiness of Colombian meals. For a refreshment, I immensely enjoyed Momo Tea, a delightful boba tea that also received a 10/10 for its unique flavors. Exploring Colombian cuisine is an adventure that I highly recommend to fellow food lovers! If you're planning a trip to Colombia, be sure to seek out these dishes and more. The blend of flavors and vibrant ingredients will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on your palate.
