Hitting 200 in-game days in a modded Minecraft survival world feels like such an accomplishment! It's amazing to look back at all the builds and see how my world has evolved. I wanted to share some thoughts and tips on a few of my favorite projects, especially since a lot of you are curious about similar builds! Let's talk about rabbit pens and enclosures. I've found that giving your bunnies a good home isn't just practical for breeding or resources; it also adds so much charm to your base! For my own rabbit pen, I opted for a cozy wooden fenced area on a raised platform, just across from my house. It keeps them safe and gives them a nice view! When designing yours, think about space – rabbits love to hop around – and maybe add some natural elements like bamboo or flowers to make it feel more like a proper habitat. A simple roof can also keep them safe from phantoms or other airborne mobs, depending on your difficulty. Another big project for me was tackling the vertical challenge with a mountain staircase. I had this beautiful mountain near my base and knew I needed an efficient, yet aesthetic, way to get up and down. My stone staircase ascending the mountain not only looks great but also connects different levels of my base, including a spot where I keep my llamas! When building your own, consider using sturdy materials like stone bricks or cobblestone, and don't forget to add torches or lanterns for lighting. Railings can also be a lifesaver, especially if you're carrying valuable resources. It's a fantastic way to integrate your base with the natural landscape. Beyond just rabbits, setting up efficient animal farms has been crucial for my survival. I've got various fenced enclosures for chickens, sheep, cows, and pigs. And yes, even a special spot for mooshroom cows – those are always a fun addition! If you're building an animal farm, especially on a floating island like some of mine, ensure your fences are secure and consider automatic feeding or collection systems to save time. For mooshrooms, remember they need a mushroom biome to spawn naturally, but you can always transport them! Exploring with modded Minecraft has opened up so many creative possibilities. While I don't use a specific “hybrid aquatic” mod, the ability to generate unique biomes and structures, like those floating islands in the ocean or even a red Nether-themed island, makes every playthrough feel fresh. Mods can truly transform how you approach building and resource gathering, inspiring you to create things you never thought possible in vanilla. Finally, for those curious about keeping track of their progress, a quick tip: you can easily check your in-game days! On Java Edition, pressing F3 will bring up a debug screen, and you'll see your Days count there. It's super satisfying to watch that number climb as you build and explore! I hope these insights into my 200-day journey give you some fresh ideas for your own Minecraft adventures, whether you're building a cozy rabbit house, an epic mountain stairway, or an extensive animal enclosure!
