Spooky day in Monroe, MI

On the last day of out vacation, we made a pit stop in Monroe to visit the Museum of Horror and Nocturnal, a Gothic coffee shop!

The Museum was fun. They had a good mix of real and Hollywood horror artifacts. I took so many photos, but only sharing a few here. It was only $45 for all 5 of us to go!

And a 3 minute walk from the museum is a gothic coffee bar that was celebrating summerween with their Haunted Campfire S’more’s latte. It was so good and the little ghosts in the cup were so cute! We also got bat cookies and a pumpkin cupcake with cream-cheese icing that was to die for.

And you absolutely cannot leave without trying some of their baked goods. The black bat-shaped cookies with gold flecks were almost too pretty to eat, and the pumpkin cupcake with cream-cheese icing was truly heavenly. It’s clear they put a lot of love into their themed treats. The vibe at Nocturnal is just perfect for unwinding after the museum – a place where you can sip a spooky latte, enjoy a themed pastry, and soak in the unique gothic ambiance.
