Through The Rain

It’s been raining often in our part of the world lately. And while the rain can feel inconvenient at times, it’s also deeply needed—and something we’re grateful for. Our doors open to a beautiful view of Pelican Mountain, where we’re fortunate to witness every kind of weather, breathtaking sunsets, and the shifting seasons. Much of what is create is inspired by this view. Even on the cloudiest, rain-soaked days, there’s always something worth celebrating.This time, it was the simple, whimsical thought of an umbrella whisking across the sky.

“Through the Rain”

The umbrella dances across the sky,

In purple clouds where raindrops sigh.

From cutout skies and paper dreams,

The world awakens, stitched in seams.

Two girls sing where puddles gleam,

Their voices soft as morning’s dream.

They mirror each other, soul and face,

In the quiet rhythm of rain’s embrace.

Dandelions drift in morning’s hush,

While puddles mirror soft blush.

The rain gives way to golden light—

A hush before the sun takes flight.

From these collage dreams, the world is spun,

And wakes beneath the real sun.
