Free Dietitian & Groceries?

I finally listened to my insurance and decided to take advantage of something I was already paying for... a registered dietitian.

Since my insurance covers it, I figured, why not give it a try? I chose Nourish because I prefer telehealth appointments, but I quickly realized it's so much more than that.

The app has honestly blown me away. Not only can I track calories and macros, but it also lets me track so many other health metrics. It syncs with my smartwatch, fitness data, CGM, and more, giving me a much better picture of my overall health instead of just focusing on the scale.

The biggest surprise? My insurance has covered everything so far, and after just my first appointment I learned so much. My dietitian has helped me understand nutrition in ways that actually make sense for my body and my health goals.

Another feature I love is the rewards program. As I complete nutrition goals, I earn rewards that can be redeemed for grocery gift cards. It's such a thoughtful way to help make healthier food choices a little more affordable.

As someone living with chronic illness and working toward a healthier lifestyle, this has already been life-changing in just one week. If you've been putting off seeing a dietitian, I definitely recommend checking to see if your insurance covers Nourish. You might be surprised by what's available to you!

... Read moreI wanted to share more about my experience using the Nourish app and why I believe it's a game-changer for anyone looking to improve their nutrition and overall health. What stood out most to me was how comprehensive the app is – it's not just about counting calories or macros. Since the app syncs with my smartwatch, fitness devices, and even continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data, I gained a holistic understanding of how different aspects of my lifestyle affect my health. Working with a registered dietitian through a telehealth platform was surprisingly personal and tailored. My dietitian helped me interpret the data and guided me on actionable nutrition changes that consider my chronic illness without making me feel overwhelmed. This approach allowed me to set realistic and meaningful health goals. Another feature I found incredibly motivating was the rewards program. It turns healthy habit-building into an engaging experience by giving me grocery gift cards when I hit certain nutrition benchmarks. This makes buying nourishing foods less of a financial burden and really reinforces positive habits. For those hesitant about telehealth or unsure about insurance coverage, I encourage you to explore if services like Nourish are covered for you. Taking advantage of these resources can lower the barriers to expert nutrition advice, supporting not just weight management but long-term wellness, especially for people managing chronic conditions. Overall, this experience has been life-changing and empowering. It's helped me shift focus away from just weight to viewing health as multi-dimensional. If you're ready to take control of your nutrition with expert guidance and support, I highly recommend looking into dietitian services covered by your insurance and exploring apps that integrate your health data for a full picture of wellbeing.
