This is why, I struggle to want to do Customs

For context, THIS IS MOTHER.

im struggling to get more than a thumbs-up confirmation on any and all design possibilities. I am not posting to drag her, but rather a little PSA to potential customers for not just my business but others who may deal in custom designs work.

No, this isn't an isolated thing or because she is my mother and is go with the flow good with anything i do for her. This is a very typical thing for many customers. Especially the ones who are the typical "whatever you think is good" or "I want this but not this color, maybe this color, oh no thats too "ish" constant knowing what they want but never actually know what they want.

Our jobs are SOOOO much harder with these types of consultations.

I am truly trying to give you everything that you want and love without having any fall out once the product is printed cut and delivered.

don't be scared to critique what you dont like, but also dont be the nit picker that's never happy!

as always WE LOVE YALL AND APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR BUSINESS AND FAITH IN US!

Many customers approach custom projects with vague ideas, leading to a struggle for designers who need specific feedback to get things right. Customers frequently express desires such as, "I want something like this, but not that color," without realizing that such indecisiveness complicates the creative process. It's crucial for customers to provide clear ideas while openly communicating their preferences to ensure the final product meets their expectations. Improving communication can make a world of difference in custom order fulfillment. Designers thrive on constructive criticism, guiding them to refine their concepts aligning with customers' visions. Providing examples, mood boards, or color palettes can help customers articulate their preferences more clearly. This collaborative approach not only enhances the design process but also fosters a more satisfying experience for both parties. Ultimately, when customers feel empowered to express their thoughts without fear of being overly critical, it can lead to better outcomes and a more enjoyable custom order experience. Embrace this dynamic relationship to create designs that captivate and satisfy your customers!
