Turning My Passion for Crafts into a Side Business
Hi, I’m a software engineer who spends my days coding and my nights crafting! With the tech industry feeling uncertain lately, I decided to channel my creativity into something I truly enjoy—handmade crafts.
🕯️ About Bit Craft Studio
The name Bit comes from my two cats’ names combined with the initials of my own name. Coincidentally, it also means binary, keeping my coder identity intact 🖥️🐱.
I chose candles as my first product because they’re fun to make, aesthetically pleasing, and bring a sense of happiness—whether as décor or for a cozy scented experience! ❤️
🛠️ Future Plans
Besides candles, I’m also learning polymer clay, tufted rugs, and stickers, which will be added to the shop in the future!
📢 Where to Find Me
• Etsy: Bit Craft Studio
• Instagram: Same name (though I haven’t posted in a while 😅)
🌟 Since I still have a full-time job, new products and updates will be posted at my own pace—the priority is to enjoy the process!
If you’re in North America and have a handmade side business (or are thinking of starting one), let’s connect! And of course, all support is welcome! ❤️
Got any ideas or requests for handmade products? Feel free to drop me a message! 🎉
