Gaming Night ♡

Hey fellow gamers and spooky season lovers! You saw a glimpse of my setup, and I wanted to dive a bit deeper into how I created my ultimate Halloween gaming room, perfect for those terrifying Phasmophobia sessions. It's truly become my favorite sanctuary for immersive horror gaming! First off, lighting is EVERYTHING. Ambient lighting really sets the mood. I swear by my purple and blue ambient lighting setup. I use LED strips behind my monitor and shelves, and a starry projector effect on the ceiling. It transforms the space instantly into something mystical and a little eerie, which is exactly what you want when you're ghost hunting in Phasmophobia. For a true Halloween feel, consider adding some orange or deep red lights into the mix, perhaps even some flickering LED candles (battery-operated, of course, safety first!). Decorations don't have to be over the top. My HALLOWEEN movie poster featuring John Carpenter's classic is a subtle nod to the horror genre and ties the room together. You could also look for vintage horror game posters, spooky art prints, or even some faux spiderwebs in corners. Little details make a big difference. I even have a small blue figurine on my blue and black camouflage-patterned desk mat that adds a quirky touch. Think about incorporating elements that hint at the season without overwhelming your gaming functionality. My gaming gear itself plays a role in the aesthetic. My white gaming PC tower with blue internal lighting perfectly complements the blue theme, and my blue-backlit keyboard adds to the cool, atmospheric glow. If you're looking to upgrade, consider peripherals that match your chosen color scheme – it makes the whole setup feel more cohesive and intentional. But beyond the looks, it's about the experience. Phasmophobia is my go-to, but for those nights when I want more variety, I also love playing games like Dead by Daylight, Outlast, or even some classic horror RPGs. Having a list of spooky games ready ensures you're always in the Halloween spirit. And don't forget the snacks! A themed snack plate or drink can elevate the whole gaming night. Making your gaming room feel like a personal haunted haven doesn't have to break the bank. I often find cool decor pieces at thrift stores or dollar stores during the fall season. DIY projects, like painting small pumpkins or crafting your own spooky garland, can add a unique touch. The goal is to create a space where you feel completely immersed in your game, especially when it's a horror title like Phasmophobia, and my Halloween-inspired room truly achieves that for me.
