🖤Ghosts, Grief & a Main Man Who’s a 👻(Literally) 🖤

Rating: 5/5

It isn’t spicy, just spooky-cute and full of heart

WHY did I fall head over heels for a ghost?? Ashley Poston really said “here’s a haunted love story”

Florence sees dead people (think Sixth Sense, but make it romcom), and somehow her dead editor had me swooning like he just walked out of a Hallmark movie and into a funeral home 🫠. The dad? A legend. The family? Can I be adopted. And the ex? May he stub his toe every single morning for the rest of his crusty little life. 🙃

This book was sweet, weird in all the best ways, and somehow made me laugh while also making me feel all the things. I saw the twist… kinda. But also didn’t. I was just too busy having a good time in my feelings and falling for a 👻.

Highly recommend if you want something light, a lil spooky, and full of heart. Some spicy but not much, but the vibes? Absolute Perfection!

The Grief of Letting Go
I almost had a relapse into my old life. Nostalgia almost made me backtrack but something inside me said no it’s a trick. It’s OK to reminisce on old feelings, but it’s not OK to run back to comfort. You have to remind yourself why you can no longer be around certain spirits. You have to remind you

Grief is a kingdom you never ask to rule. A place with no stars, no dawn to break. Endless night. A place where echoes live longer than voices, where shadows wear the faces you’ve lost— but never quite get them right. It crowns you in silence, wraps its cloak around your ribs, tightens unti

Grief Is Not A Sign Of Weakness— It’s Proof..

Grief is a hard task.
Grief is a very hard task. It changes from minute to minute, hour to hour, day to day. It gets easier for a time and then suddenly smacks you upside your head and inside your heart. There is no one simple or single way to grieve. Grief has a life and mind of its own. It comes and goes at will. So
