Tea reading!!!!

One of my more creative ways of divination I practice.

Starts off pretty simple. Pour, drink the tea(make sure not to drink the leaves) and then flip the cup upside down to rid of the excess leaves. Then begin the reading. What you may see in your cup could be letters, shapes, animals, objects, mythical creatures, nature. All kinds of things are possible. That’s where you get to be creative. It may take some time recognizing what exactly you see in your cup. But that’s okay!

Some other things you can note is if there were bubbles in the tea or the tea was cloudy before you drank it. Also if there is still a little liquid left in the cup.

For example one of the things I’ve observed in this reading was an archway and a windmill. The archway could mean new opportunities and coming home. While the windmill could mean an alternative or source of energy (note: that is not the traditional meaning).

Interpretation is up to you. Some people use their guide or a book or may look up what the symbols mean online. Others use their intuition to interpret the meanings behind the symbols.

I use my intuition for interpretation. That’s why the windmill is not the Traditional meaning.

I hope you found this interesting!

Thanks

... Read moreAfter you’ve poured your tea, sipped it, and flipped your cup, the real magic begins! I know it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, seeing all those scattered leaves. But trust me, with a little practice and a lot of intuition, you’ll start seeing incredible things. I remember my first few readings; it took a moment to discern if a cluster was an "Archway" hinting at new opportunities, or perhaps a "Windmill" suggesting a need for alternative energy. Every reading is a unique conversation with your subconscious. When I look into my cup, I often start by letting my eyes wander. Don't force it! Sometimes, a clear image will just pop out at you. Other times, you might need to turn the cup, look from different angles, just like the original post suggested. It's like finding shapes in clouds. Let's talk about some common symbols that often appear and how I interpret them, keeping in mind that your intuition is your best guide: Animals: If I see a bird symbol, it often signifies good news, new beginnings, or a message coming your way. A tree symbol speaks volumes about growth, stability, and connection to your roots or aspirations. For instance, a strong, leafy tree might mean flourishing, while a bare one could suggest a period of introspection. Shapes: A heart symbol is pretty straightforward – love, affection, or emotional matters. A circle symbol often represents completion, unity, or a cycle coming full circle. If I see a star symbol, I feel it's a sign of hope, destiny, or that your wishes are aligning. Paths & Crossroads: Seeing a path symbol or crossroads symbol in your tea leaves is a strong indicator of choices ahead, a journey you're embarking on, or a decision point. It's a reminder to consider your direction carefully. Objects: A key symbol is always exciting! To me, it means unlocking new opportunities, discovering a secret, or finding a solution to a problem. When I see an eye symbol, it speaks to heightened intuition, protection, or the need to observe carefully. And what about those bubbles in tea meaning spiritual insights? If I notice bubbles before I even start sipping, I often take it as a sign of positive energy, good fortune, or even a build-up of excitement. It’s like the universe sending a little fizz of joy your way! Remember, while there are traditional interpretations for many symbols, the most profound meanings will come from your connection to them. What does that bird feel like to *you*? What emotions does that tree evoke? That's the real essence of tea leaf reading. Keep a journal of your readings; you'll be amazed at the patterns and personal insights you uncover. It's a beautiful way to connect with your inner wisdom and tap into a bit of everyday magic!
