New moon = new beginning
Starting a new cycle with the new moon often symbolizes fresh opportunities and personal growth. From my experiences, I’ve found that embracing new beginnings can be incredibly healing, especially when dealing with mental health challenges like anxiety and depression. For me, creativity—especially through activities like crocheting—became a sanctuary where I could express myself authentically. Living with autism and possible ADHD (often called AuDHD) means that social connections and communication can sometimes feel overwhelming. But engaging in creative work helped me connect with others in ways words sometimes couldn't. Sharing my creations and seeing others enjoy them brings a deep sense of fulfillment and reminds me why it’s worth continuing, despite the darkness that can sometimes cloud life. If you’re feeling stuck or struggling with your own mental health, I encourage you to try starting something new under the energy of the new moon. It can be anything from a small craft project, journaling your feelings, or learning a new hobby. The idea is to create space for joy and authenticity, no matter the challenges you face. Remember, progress is not about perfection but about showing up for yourself honestly. Joy can be precious and fleeting, especially when you've been through difficult times, so finding these moments of light, even in small ways, is powerful and worth celebrating. The new moon offers a beautiful reminder that every cycle brings a chance to reset and move forward with renewed hope.
