@apple Thank YOU for your features. @Toyota USA Thank you for your safety features & Most of all Thank you to the man upstairs for my baby still being here.
As a parent, there’s nothing more important than knowing your child is safe, especially when they’re on the road. In this experience, the combination of Toyota’s robust safety features and Apple’s emergency response system truly proved invaluable during a serious crash. Despite the truck flipping several times after hitting a fallen tree, my son survived without life-threatening injuries. What stands out is how technology played a critical role. I subscribe to Life360 Gold, hoping it would alert me if anything happened, but surprisingly, it didn’t notify me about the crash. Instead, it was my son’s iPhone automatically calling 911 that alerted emergency services and allowed me to be informed quickly. This incident made me realize that not all monitoring apps are equally reliable in emergencies. Toyota’s commitment to safety with features that protect occupants in rollovers and collisions gave me peace of mind. Meanwhile, Apple's feature that automatically dials emergency services when a serious crash is detected is a game-changer, especially when families are miles apart. From this experience, my advice to other parents is to ensure your vehicle has proven safety technology and to familiarize yourself with your smartphone’s emergency functions. Don’t rely solely on tracking apps – know how your devices can work for you when it matters the most. I hope Life360 evaluates this incident closely because timely alerts could truly make a difference for many families. Above all, I’m endlessly grateful for the safety technology, experts who design these tools, and – of course – the fortunate outcome that my son is still here.
