Double kill
Hey everyone! As someone who spends a lot of time in Warzone, I've had my fair share of intense moments. But nothing quite beats the rush of seeing that "Double Kill" pop up on screen, especially when you know it's not just about the eliminations, but the points behind it. For the longest time, I just celebrated the kill count, but then I started noticing the score feed and realized: a 'Double Kill' isn't just cool, it's actually worth 2 points in Call of Duty! And understanding this can seriously elevate your game. So, what exactly does "worth 2 points" mean in CoD? Unlike a regular single elimination which gives you 1 point towards your score, a double kill bundles two rapid takedowns together, rewarding you with an extra point for that quick succession. It’s a clear signal from the game that it rewards aggressive, decisive plays. Those +100 scores for ELIMINATED and Comy Downed are great, but getting them back-to-back for a "Double kill" just feels different. It's more than just double the XP; it's about the momentum and the score multipliers that kick in. Why does this matter? Well, beyond the obvious score advantage, those extra points contribute faster to your scorestreaks in multiplayer, or even just your overall rank progression in battle royale modes like Warzone. Chaining eliminations like this often means you’re on a roll, clearing out areas, and potentially securing objectives or crucial positions. I've found that when I focus on trying to chain kills, my overall performance, including my Cash earnings and ability to buy essential gear like Armor Platex3, significantly improves. It’s a snowball effect! Now, how do you consistently pull off these satisfying "Double kill" moments? It's easier than you might think with a bit of practice. Here are a few tips I’ve picked up from my own gameplay: Aggressive Positioning: Don't be afraid to push. Often, enemies travel in pairs or small groups. If you down one, immediately look for their teammate. This is where the Pistol/SMG x25 category often shines – their high fire rates and mobility are perfect for rapid follow-ups. I've had great success pushing into buildings or around corners after securing a first kill, anticipating a second enemy. Weapon Choice Matters: While any weapon can net you a double kill, I personally find SMGs or fast-firing assault rifles to be ideal. Their time-to-kill (TTK) allows you to quickly transition from one target to the next. Having a good secondary weapon, like a reliable pistol, can also save you if your primary runs dry mid-fight. Anticipate Spawns/Rotations: In modes with respawns, understanding common enemy routes or spawn points after an ELIMINATED teammate can set you up for a quick second kill. In Warzone, it's more about team movement – if you see one, assume another teammate isn't far behind. Use Your Utilities: Don't forget your stun grenades, flashbangs, or even smoke. Blinding or disorienting an enemy after downing their partner gives you that crucial second to line up another shot and secure the 3RD KILL or Double Kill. Stay Equipped: Always ensure you have enough Armor Platex3 to re-plate quickly between engagements. Taking some damage after the first kill but being able to quickly recover means you're ready for the second target. Also, managing your Cash effectively to buy a loadout or a good killstreak can give you an edge in securing multiple eliminations. Getting that notification of +100 Elmination twice in quick succession, leading to the "Double kill" banner, is incredibly rewarding. It shows you're not just getting single picks, but actively disrupting enemy pushes and earning those valuable 2 points. It's a small detail, but one that drastically improves your overall impact on the game. Trust me, once you start consciously aiming for those swift multi-kills, your gameplay will feel much more dynamic and rewarding. Happy hunting!
