Who would have thought throwing a birthday party would be stressful!!! Whewwww . I’m glad I made it a bit easier on myself for paying someone to decorate 🩷. The theme was Flintstones as you can see but we twisted some colors on it 🔥.
Things I learned throwing my baby very first birthday:
- have music (we forgot the speaker 🥺😂)
- good food (which I did , they ate every last thing nothing left or and the treat table was chefs kiss)
- getting HELP (Shout of to one of my best friends & mom)
- everyone you invited won’t come ( I still had a great turn out and all seats were filled )
- have a good time no matter the outcome because money was spent and at the end of the day … THE DAY GOTTA END 😂
Yes baby won’t remember none of this but I would do it all over again just for her . She will get to see all the memories and pictures and the vlog of her very first birthday 🫶🏾. Next year we will likely keep it small and intimate with a pool party bbq , zoo , aquarium, or museum 🙌🏾.

1. **Choose a Theme**: A Flintstone-themed birthday party is a fantastic idea! Consider exploring a colorful twist on the classic theme or any other favorites like animals, fairytales, or even a favorite cartoon character.
2. **Delicious Treats**: Food is crucial at any party. Make sure to have a variety of finger foods, snacks, and a beautiful cake that matches your theme. Incorporating fun, themed treats can elevate your celebration.
3. **Engaging Activities**: Plan interactive games or activities suitable for toddlers and their parents. Simple games like bubble parties, soft play areas, or sensory activities can keep the little ones entertained.
4. **Capture the Moments**: Even though your baby may not remember the day, having a photographer or designated family member to capture those moments is invaluable. Setting up a photo booth can be a fun add-on for guests too.
5. **Consider Guest Count**: It's wise to invite more people than you expect since RSVPs can be unpredictable. Create a relaxed atmosphere where parents can mingle while their toddlers explore.
6. **Keep It Simple**: Don't feel pressured to create a lavish event. Focus on what matters most—celebrating your baby’s first year with family and friends who love them. Remember to enjoy the day, as it’s a time for joy, laughter, and creating lasting memories.
omg the theme is so cute, and she's adorable 😊
