Doing my own nails for the first time!🥳

Soooo I did a thiiiiing as you all can see👀😅 and it turned out AMAZING! I have been recently interested in attempting to do my own nails and I did some research and only watch one YouTube short.💀

As usual and as a woman I nearly over complicated things so I go led it down to what was an absolute necessity per the items listed above:

☁️ Aillsa Uv mini lamp - as mentioned, works like a charm, hold it for 20-40 secs (depending on if you’re curing glue or gel/acrylic) and watch how fast it seals!

10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

☁️ Blossom Cuticle Oil - will like to start off by saying this is of course my favorite product by far 😌 it smells AMAZING and of course they have other scents from cherry to watermelon (I missed that one😭) jasmine, orange etc. I’ve had this product used on me in professional nails shops and loved it ever since.

100/10!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🥳

☁️Beetles Nail Foundation - per the description it DOES have a chemical smell but thankfully the cuticle oil I purchased comes in handy on that front. When I removed my nails later today (really they popped off 💀) no damage to my nail bed whatsoever🙂‍↕️ overall a great product

7/10 for the smell⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

☁️ Nail trimmer and cuticle pusher - I used these tools, primarily the cuticle pusher, and it’s pretty self explanatory. I was in awe of course watching the dead skin cells coming up of my nails and can confidently say I got the job done 😅😂

☁️ Beetles Nail Glue Gel - works beautifully to be honest. Cured beautifully under my mini Uv light and you can watch the process of it all. Dries rubbery underneath (discovered this from a popped off nail). Only two popped because I was in a rush leaving the house and had a little bit of time to do my nails. ONLY two 👀 got this for conveniency and it did it’s job

Overall 8/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (again, the smell)

💡Honorable mentions: the press ons I’m wearing are from KISS and they are regular French tips. The shaping I didn’t do they come in the box EXACTLY as pictured. Beautiful and perfect *chefs kiss* 😚

I also ordered a nail glue removal product that I can review later for you guys.

For my first time I’d say I did pretty good. I did this to save money (usually cost $130 with pedi) and a trip to going to the nail shop as the ones I go to don’t necessarily practice nail care and i grew tired of being more then dissatisfied with the results. Tested them on popping open bottles, scratching, showering, and the big one: dishes😬😬 and they’re still on as I type this out.🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ I plan on learning how to do my feet so any tips?
