Setting the best intentions for February! Literally my new year 🫶🏾💕
February is a powerful month for many reasons, including Black History Month and personal celebrations like birthdays. It's a perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and set new intentions. From my own experience, I’ve found that treating February as a 'mini new year' can bring renewed motivation, especially when January feels overwhelming. Especially during times of uncertainty in the world, taking a step back to reassess your priorities isn’t just okay—it’s necessary. Whether your New Year’s resolutions have taken a backseat or you’re feeling burned out, use this month to reset without guilt. Make space for self-care and realistic goal-setting, tailored to where you are now rather than where you hoped to be at the start of the year. Incorporating the significance of Black History Month can also deepen the meaning of your reset. It’s a time to honor resilience, progress, and community strength. You might consider setting goals that include learning more about Black history or supporting Black-owned businesses, as a way to align personal growth with cultural awareness. Ultimately, February offers a fresh chance to reprioritize your life, embrace new habits, and move forward with intention and grace.
