… because everyone needs help 🫶🏽
Hi everyone!
Once again thank you for the support!! 🤎It’s a reminder why I love sharing my thoughts and experiences with you all.
If you’re new here… heyyyy 👩🏽💻
I'm just a girl who decided to be vulnerable about living with BPD, and writes her feelings.
These past few weeks have been so hard mentally.
And that’s what this I guess next “poem”, is about.
I say I guess because I know there’s real poets out there and im not a professional.
But I’m writing this to let you know if you or anyone you know are feeling the same please feel free to DM, and or drops some thoughts below.
I LOVE when you guys comment.
As always I highly suggest talk therapy. I’m still with Grow Therapy going strong. And this week I scheduled an appointment with a psychiatrist my therapist recommend. While I’m not the biggest fan of medication, I’m also aware of the benefits it can bring to individuals who suffer with their mental health on a daily basis, like myself.
In times like these it’s important to know your limits and understand it’s okay to be helped.
Finding the right help is hard but it’s also worth while, and for me life saving!
Its okay not to be okay!
But its not okay to suffer especially in silence.
This is a reminder post 🚨
If you need help get help beautiful people!!
Life is too short.
If you like my page please feel free to share this with friends and on your pages.
I’m only on here and I’m not the best with social media.
You never know who may need to see this.
Stay strong and I hope you enjoy this next post.

Living with mental health challenges, especially depression and anxiety, can feel incredibly isolating. I remember days when hopelessness felt like a heavy blanket, making it hard to even get out of bed. It was during one of these dark periods that I stumbled upon the concept of positive affirmations. At first, I was skeptical – could simply repeating phrases really make a difference? But desperate for any glimmer of light, I decided to give them a try. And honestly, it’s been a transformative part of my healing journey. Affirmations aren't a magic cure, but they are a powerful tool for rewiring our brains. Think of them as tiny, positive seeds you plant in your mind each day. When we're struggling with depression or anxiety, our internal dialogue often becomes overwhelmingly negative. We tell ourselves we're not good enough, that things will never get better, or that we're a burden. Affirmations are designed to counteract these harmful thought patterns by introducing new, empowering beliefs. They help shift your focus from what's going wrong to what's possible, fostering a sense of hope and self-worth. Based on my own experience and what I've learned, here are some affirmations that have truly resonated with me and helped me navigate difficult times: For Challenging Negative Thoughts: "I do not have to believe every thought that I have." This one, in particular, was a game-changer. It helped me create distance from intrusive thoughts and realize they weren't necessarily true. For Building Resilience: "I am resilient, and I will get through this." There were moments I felt completely broken, but repeating this reminded me of my inner strength and capacity to overcome challenges. For Self-Compassion: "I am worthy of love and kindness, especially from myself." It's so easy to be harsh on ourselves when we're down. This affirmation encouraged me to treat myself with the same empathy I'd offer a friend. For Embracing the Present: "I am safe and present in this moment." Anxiety often pulls us into worries about the future. This helps ground me. For Hope and Growth: "Every day, I am moving towards healing and growth." Even small steps are progress, and this affirmation celebrates that journey. For Acceptance: "It's okay not to be okay. I am doing my best." This reminds me to release the pressure of having to be perfect and allows for vulnerability. For Inner Strength: "I have the strength within me to face today's challenges." It’s an empowering reminder that I possess the tools to cope. Integrating affirmations into your daily routine doesn't have to be complicated. I started by writing them down in a journal each morning or evening. Sometimes, I'd say them out loud while looking in the mirror. You can also set them as reminders on your phone, or create a vision board. The key is consistency and truly feeling the words as you say them, allowing them to sink into your subconscious. Don't worry if you don't believe them fully at first; the practice itself begins to shift your perspective. While affirmations have been incredibly beneficial for my mental well-being, it's crucial to remember that they are a complementary tool. They work best when paired with other forms of support, such as talk therapy or professional guidance, as mentioned in the original post. For me, they've become a vital part of my self-care toolkit, helping me cultivate a more positive and compassionate inner voice. If you're struggling, I truly encourage you to explore the power of affirmations alongside seeking professional help. You deserve to find peace and healing.
