POV: you watch a couple videos and suddenly think you’re a nail tech 💅🏽😂

This was my first time ever doing press-ons by myself using BTArtbox nails and I was STRESSED the whole time ngl 😭

But somehow… they actually came out cute??

Like I was expecting a disaster but I might’ve ate just a little 🫣

Still learning, but I think I found a new hobby 👀

From my own experience, the biggest challenge is getting the nails to fit perfectly. One trick I found really helpful was to file my natural nails down a bit before starting to make sure the press-ons adhere better without lifting. Also, using a good quality nail glue or adhesive tabs is key – I experimented with both and found that glue tends to last longer but tabs are easier to remove. Another tip is to prepare your natural nails properly by cleaning off oils and buffing slightly. This helps the press-ons stick securely and avoid early peeling. I used a nail dehydrator and it really made a difference. I chose BTArtbox nails because of their wide variety of cute designs and sizes. At first, I was worried about spacing and alignment, but taking my time and applying each nail carefully helped me avoid disasters and got me pretty happy results. Watching tutorial videos beforehand boosted my confidence, and I recommend doing so too. What surprised me most was how these quick press-ons could look so polished and chic without spending hours at a salon. It’s cost-effective, convenient, and a fun way to change your look whenever you want. Plus, I found it therapeutic to focus on some creative self-care. If you’re considering trying press-on nails yourself, don’t stress about perfection or speed. It’s all a learning curve, and even little successes feel rewarding. Soon enough, you might find yourself enjoying this beauty hobby just like I did!
