You’re Tearing Me Apart- The Diary of a Broken Soul

This is the diary of a broken soul in her marriage.

I wish you knew how much you’ve broken my spirit.

I keep giving you my heart, and you keep getting a sharper knife…

Your words cut straight through my soul.

My voice cracks as I’m sobbing.

My heart is racing, my legs are weak..and I can’t breathe.

I’m crumbling down right in front of you, begging and pleading to make sense of what the heck we’re arguing about.

You look at me, and shake your head “Here she goes again.”

But I’m trying to catch my breath to explain what I’m feeling.

You roll your eyes in annoyance, as I’m having a panic attack.

You look at me and say “You need to take your meds, you’re too much right now.”

I walk away sobbing to our bedroom, in so much pain emotionally that my body is breaking down.

I’m waiting for you to come and hold me.

But you never showed up.

As I’m sobbing, all I keep replaying is the image of you two feet in front of me yelling about how I’m wrong.

If you only knew how much that hurt me, would you even care?

Each day I’m with you, I feel more torn apart.

I want to believe it’s an accident.

I want to believe your sorries.

I do…

There’s just a part of me that can’t anymore.

I can’t allow you to bring me down.

I’m drowning in this relationship that we’re trying to make work. #chronicillnesscommunity #marriageadvice #mentalhealthmatters #fyp #blackgirllemon8

Healing is a journey, and sometimes it means setting boundaries or seeking clarity through open communication or counseling. It’s essential to prioritize your emotional safety, and sometimes that involves difficult choices about the relationship’s future. If you or someone you know is struggling with similar feelings, remember that you are not alone. Self-care, therapy, support groups, and honest conversations can gradually lift the heavy burden. Love should uplift rather than tear apart. Holding onto hope and believing in your worth can lead to a healthier, more fulfilling emotional space.
