From my own experience, maintaining a skincare routine when life feels overwhelmingly busy or when you are unemployed can be a real challenge. Many people think that skincare requires a lot of time and effort, but sometimes, it’s about finding simple, effective habits that fit into your current lifestyle. For instance, removing makeup every night might seem like a chore, but it’s actually one of the easiest ways to keep your skin healthy and prevent long-term damage. People often say that having kids means no time for skincare, but I believe it's all about prioritizing. Kids are definitely a huge responsibility, but carving out even just a few minutes for yourself can make a significant difference. It’s about quality, not quantity. Sometimes, a quick but consistent routine—such as cleansing and moisturizing—can keep your skin in good shape without consuming your free time. Another point I’ve noticed is the pressure from social media and skincare influencers. Not everyone has the luxury to do elaborate skincare rituals or film videos about their routines. It’s okay to be 'lazy' with skincare sometimes and still have healthy skin. The key is listening to your skin’s needs and adapting your routine to what feels manageable and effective for you. In essence, skincare doesn't have to be complicated or time-consuming to be beneficial. Whether unemployed, parenting, or just busy with life, small steps and consistency can lead to satisfying results. Embracing flexibility in your routine without guilt can help remove stress around skincare and make it a positive part of your self-care.
