Una semana después de haber vivido mi cuarto Super Bowl fotografiando fans, todavía siento el ruido del estadio en el pecho 🏈✨
Four times in, y todavía siento esa adrenalina recorrerme completa before everything starts, ajustando la cámara desde mi posición y recordándome que estar ahí, en un escenario así de grande, nunca se vuelve rutina y pienso this is not normal, this is a dream I decided to chase and somehow it keeps choosing me back.
Mientras muchos ven el marcador, I’m focused on the in between moments, the shaky breaths, the nervous laughs, the silent prayers, porque ahí es donde realmente vive la historia.
A week later and I’m still replaying every frame in my head, zooming in on the details no one else noticed, realizing that this stage no me intimida, me impulsa, me reta, me recuerda que estoy exactamente donde tengo que estar.
Cuatro Super Bowls in and the hunger is louder than ever, because this isn’t just about being there… it’s about building something that grows every single year, about proving to myself that I belong in rooms this big and moments this loud.
Reflecting on my experiences photographing four Super Bowls, I’ve come to appreciate how much more there is beyond the game’s flashy plays. It’s those in-between moments—the quick glances, anxious sighs, and quiet celebrations—that truly define the event’s spirit. Being in the crowd, camera in hand, I’ve learned to anticipate the subtle shifts in fan energy and capture them genuinely. This isn’t just about snapping pictures, but about honoring the raw human connection to a shared passion. One memorable moment was witnessing a group of teammates reunited in the stands, their camaraderie evident even before kickoff. Words on jerseys like "LEVTS" and "Levra" became symbols of identity and belonging. These small details enrich the story each photo tells, making it more than just an image, but a vivid snapshot of real lives intertwined by football. The responsibility of representing thousands of voices through my lens motivates me. In that charged atmosphere, where every spectator feels their year boils down to a single play or touchdown, I strive to preserve the essence of that experience. The stadium’s roar, the nervous laughter, and the silent prayers all blend into a powerful symphony of emotion and anticipation. Pushing through the pressure of such a high-profile stage has sharpened my skills and deepened my passion. Each Super Bowl fuels my hunger to tell better stories, to connect more authentically, and to prove not only to the world but to myself that I belong in these pivotal moments. For anyone aspiring to tell stories through photography or any creative medium, immersing yourself completely and seeking those unnoticed details is key. It’s in these unguarded human moments—the fleeting expressions—that the true narrative unfolds. After all, the Super Bowl is not just a game; it is a tapestry of emotions woven by countless fans, each with their own story worth capturing.
