Day #5 in the house I’m over snow
Spending multiple days indoors due to heavy snow can really test your patience and creativity. On my fifth day stuck inside, I completely understand the feeling of being "over snow." It's easy to feel restless and disconnected from the outside world, especially when you live in areas like America where snowstorms can last several days. To cope, I try to create small daily routines to maintain a sense of normalcy. For example, I schedule time for indoor exercise, whether it's simple stretches or yoga, to keep my body active. Cooking new recipes or baking can also become enjoyable projects to fill the time. Another helpful approach is to stay connected with friends and family digitally. Video calls and messages help lift spirits and reduce feelings of isolation. Taking this time to catch up on reading, hobbies, or even planning future activities post-snow can bring a positive outlook. If you’re working or studying from home during snowy days, setting up a dedicated workspace and clear goals each day helps maintain productivity. I also find that playing uplifting music or watching feel-good shows keeps my mood balanced. Overall, while being stuck inside due to snow can feel limiting, embracing small changes, self-care, and staying connected can help turn the experience into a chance for rest and creativity rather than frustration.
