What is going on with the diary challenge?

I’ve done two full diary challenges. Is that the cap? I thought they kept going?? Before when I clicked the eclipse it gave the option to start a new diary challenge but when I’d click it, it wouldn’t go through. Now it just says delete with no other option??? What’s the deal?
