Give a listen if you have the time

This is a small project I set for myself. I wanted a fall playlist, but I wanted a very specific sound. So, I made my own. Not just the playlist, the songs. All orchestration was done by yours truly, using MIDIs (garbled ones at that). The video is also my own, made using a variety of methods. As always, I HIGHLY recommend headphones for the full experience. All songs are part of the public domain and are listed in video, and in my timestamp comment on the video. Please be aware the playlist video is 23 minutes long!!! I am not asking you to give the full 23 minutes if you can’t, just give a listen to some of it and leave some feedback. (Note, I literally can’t post the video here!)

ENJOY!

TLDR: I made music and would be grateful for even a listen to a song or two and some feedback/positivity.

... Read moreCreating your own fall-themed playlist is a wonderful way to personalize your seasonal soundtrack, especially when the music is crafted with such dedication and creativity. Using MIDI orchestration to recreate or reimagine public domain songs allows for a fresh interpretation of familiar melodies, blending traditional folk and Irish influences with modern production techniques. This approach not only showcases musical skill but also invites listeners into an intimate auditory journey. For those seeking authentic fall vibes, the ambiance created by acoustic textures, gentle rhythms, and melodic pacing is essential. Incorporating folk and Irish elements adds warmth and nostalgia, evoking the crisp air and changing leaves of autumn. Wearing headphones, as recommended, enhances the subtle nuances and layers within the music, enriching your listening experience and allowing for deeper immersion. Beyond simply enjoying this playlist, listeners can appreciate the effort involved in juggling MIDI sequencing, orchestration, and video production. Each track reflects a thoughtful composition process that balances old and new sounds, helping music lovers discover songs that resonate with personal memories or inspire new feelings tied to the season. If you're interested in exploring fall music further, consider expanding your collection to include artists who specialize in instrumental folk, Americana, or Celtic styles, which complement this playlist's themes well. Engaging with communities around music taste and seasonal playlists can also provide feedback and foster connections, continuing the positive cycle of sharing unique creations. Overall, handcrafting your own music project—like this 23-minute fall playlist—offers not just entertainment but a creative outlet that can resonate widely when shared. Listeners are encouraged to play some tracks, reflect on the emotions they evoke, and leave thoughtful feedback to support emerging creators bringing distinctive aesthetics to the music scene.
