Say what you want but this app “feels” different. The girlies are giving personality. It’s not just staged vacation/birthday pictures with a catchy caption. This app gives a sense of community. I love that.

This app is for the gorwlssssss🥹 Anything we wanna talk abt and I mean anything! I think the vulnerability on this app comes from the lack of male presence 🤷🏾♀️ oh.

I haven’t seen (and hoping that I won’t) a verified check mark unless it was the lemon8 page or something but ugh I LOVE it and hope they continue with that. I feel like without the verified accounts that there will be no sense of celebrities on this app. 🫶🏾🥹
🤍no aesthetic
With this app you just do whatever. There is no formality. I don’t feel a need to be skeptical about posting. I see a lot of girls treat this app like a diary and when you write in a diary you’re not worrying about no one else’s views or opinions because it is YOURS. This app is yours! Simple.

I seen some think pieces on content creation on this app and I think we are forgetting the fact that some ppl are just naturally creative and want to express that with their content. I feel like content creation is often associated too much with the idea of influencer, over thousands of followers, brand deals etc. The term is overly glamorized. Posting what you want just because you want to with no objective in mind behind the content shouldn’t be overthought at all. IMO. Please don’t get discouraged because you feel that a post or picture has to look a certain way for you to post. Being authentic is and will forever be in!
