FREE Bible Study Plans for Waiting Season

I’m always curious about ways to understand the Bible so I love Bible study plans. Someone shared with me that YouVersion Bible app has over 100 different Bible study plans for FREE. So whatever you’re going through guess what, there’s a Bible plan for that.

I used to have this app a long time ago I thought it was the same as my other Bible app 😅 but YouVersion has really evolved since I last used it.

It even has a read the Bible in 7 months plan, which I’m doing now. It’s a great way to track your progress and encourage you to stay on track.

I shared some Bible plans I found interesting about waiting season.

Check it out!

P.S. You can always ask your church leaders questions for clarity on scriptures.

... Read moreIt's truly amazing how much the YouVersion Bible app has grown! When I first heard about their hundreds of free Bible study plans, I knew I had to dive back in. What I love most is how easy it is to find a plan that speaks to exactly what you're going through. Navigating the app is super intuitive – you just head to the 'Plans' tab, and you can browse by topic, emotion, book of the Bible, or even by duration. Whether you have just a few days or want a commitment for months, there's something for everyone. The sheer variety means you're never stuck, and you can always find fresh content to deepen your faith. For anyone navigating a 'waiting season,' which I know can feel incredibly long and uncertain, YouVersion is a treasure trove. I’ve personally found so much comfort and guidance in plans like 'Dear God, When Is It My Turn?' This 5-day plan offers such practical wisdom for when your hope feels low, reminding you of God's promises. Similarly, the 'God...I'm Waiting for You' plan beautifully explores the spiritual lessons embedded in our seasons of waiting, helping us understand that this time isn't lost, but purposeful. And for those specifically waiting on a spouse, 'God Promised You Marriage, Now What?' provides a wonderful perspective on preparing for marriage with purpose. These aren't just readings; they often include reflections and prompts that truly make you think and connect with the scriptures. Beyond the specific 'waiting season' themes, there's a vast world of other plans. I was so excited to discover the 'WHOLE BIBLE IN 6 MONTHS' plan. It breaks down reading the entire Bible into manageable daily portions, making what seems like a monumental task feel totally achievable. It's been incredible to track my progress and see how consistently reading different parts of the Bible each day helps pieces fit together. Plus, if you ever need a quick boost, plans like '7 Days Of Encouragement To Know You're Loved+Blessed' are fantastic for reminding you of your worth and God's unwavering love, especially when adulting gets tough. I also noticed the 'WHILE I WAIT 5 - DAY DEVOTIONAL' which connects scripture with personal stories, making the wait feel less isolating. What I've learned is that consistency is key, but YouVersion makes it so much easier. You can set daily reminders, and the app tracks your progress, which is a huge motivator. Don't be afraid to explore different plans. Sometimes, a short 3-day devotional like 'Fasting for Love' can offer a profound shift in perspective, focusing on our love for God. You can even join plans with friends, which adds an incredible layer of accountability and shared growth. And remember, as the article mentioned, if a scripture ever leaves you puzzled, reaching out to your church leader for clarity is always a good idea. These plans are powerful tools to help you grow, and combining them with community support makes the journey even richer. Happy studying!
