Sinful Nature- Bible Study 📖🙏🏽
Question: why do I know it’s wrong and I still do it?
Why when I believe In God’s words am I still a slave to my sinful nature?
Possible answer: Perhaps you knew of God’s words and commands, but it wasn’t not until recently you’ve decided to abide by God’s rules…. If you had allowed your sinful nature to rule over your life for almost 30 years, what makes you think it would be a walk in the park to get rid of every evil desire within a month.
Jesus Christ died so I can be set free from my sins ; then why am I not free from them?
Possible answer: Jesus had died and risen way before you were born; although you grew up knowing the story, but your fleshed did not willfully died not until when?
What can be done differently?
Focus on your relationship with God, commit to reading his words and filled your surroundings with things that reminds you of his love, let love overcome punishment and our sinful desires. Learn not to take God’s grace and mercies for granted, and use them as a motivation to please him and seek after the things that pertain to his heart.
If you only focus on changing yourself, you will fail time and time again. Some battles are for the Lord alone ,surrender to God and lean not unto your own understanding.
Lord , I pray for whomsoever is reading this post ; Heavenly Father may you reach to your beloved child and make him or her understand that he or she is already chosen, no amount of sins or the enemy schemes can separate them from your love. May your child understands that your “Perfect Son “already died on the cross for our sins . You’re not calling us to perfection, you are calling us to surrender and you will continue your good work within us.
In Jesus Precious name I Pray, Amen.🙏🏽
