Do you feel out of it?
I started using Happy Juice in December, and for about 3 months I felt fantastic. I couldn’t shut up about it. I was, um, happier. 😉 Motivated. Had more energy. Less anxious feeling. All the things.
But then. Everything sort of fell apart. Things in my personal life started bringing me down, one thing after another and before I knew it, I was in that dark pit. If you suffer from depression and/or anxiety then you know what I’m talking about.
The super frustrating thing with mental ill is that you can know, in your mind, exactly what you need to do to make yourself feel better. And in the same exact mind, you can have absolutely no energy or desire to just get up and make it happen. It’s like there is a weight on top of you and you know what needs to be done but you just can’t make it happen because that weight is too strong.
After talking for months about how Happy Juice made me feel good and then feeling so incredibly sad, I felt like a fraud. Which made things even worse. Because why on earth wouldn’t I use the tools I had to help? But that’s depression. It just has a hold on you.
I’m happy ( 😉 ) to say that I am in a much better place now. Happy Juice isn’t a fix by any means. But it’s something in my toolbox that I don’t want to be without. That’s for sure. If you relate with this, let me know. I’d be happy to share some things that have helped me feel better.
