🌙 Monday Evening Peace | #EndWithGod

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” — Isaiah 26:3

The day is winding down, and I’m closing Monday with stillness. Not because everything is finished — but because He is faithful, and His peace doesn’t depend on my performance.

As a chaplain-in-training, I’m learning this sacred rhythm:

🌿 Serve.

🕊 Surrender.

💛 Rest.

Evening is for release — of worry, plans, and pressure. Lay it all at His feet and let Him hold what you can’t.

🎧 Evening Song: “Peace” by Bethel Music & We The Kingdom — a prayer wrapped in melody.

Engaging in a practice of mindfulness can improve your mental clarity and emotional well-being. Here are some ways to enhance your evening peace: 1. **Mindful Breathing**: Spend a few minutes focusing on your breath. Inhale deeply, hold for a moment, and exhale slowly. This simple technique can help center your thoughts and reduce anxiety. 2. **Gratitude Reflection**: Consider listing three things you are grateful for from the past week. Recognizing the positives can help shift your focus away from stressors. 3. **Soothing Music**: Create a calming atmosphere with soft music. Songs like "Peace" by Bethel Music can serve as a beautiful soundtrack to your evening, promoting a sense of sacredness and connection. 4. **Journaling**: Take time to write down your thoughts and feelings. Journaling can be therapeutic, offering clarity as you process your experiences and emotions. 5. **Inspirational Reading**: Dive into a book or passage that uplifts you spiritually. It can provide comfort and guidance as you transition into the evening. Incorporating these practices can help cultivate a peaceful evening routine, leading to a more mindful start to your week. Remember, peace comes from within and can be nurtured through intentional practice.
