I always stay that @blessingofblankets is more than just making a blanket and selling it. It’s more than hooks, needles, & yarn. It is more than silly dancing videos, or a picture of my Bible in the morning.
It’s rich with intention, hope, support, comfort and joy - whatever journey of life you are traveling.
God gave each and every one of us gifts. As he hand stitched each and every one of us, He threw in little things that creatively make us - US! This idea creates a foundation for B*B as I hand make each item.
When I am gifted the opportunity to create. I first desire to open my heart to express what the Lord desires to be revealed using this gift of mine that He gave me.
Always my intention is to give more than I have with each and every creation. Desiring first to give what is God’s first then share in the joy He reveals.
This beautiful blanket was created and donated to the @firefoundationdenver and their upcoming Gala. I was given a mug as the inspiration to create something to go with it for the donation.
The morning this blanket was made, God opened my eyes to what He wanted made. Requesting that I trust His process, as this was a little… different. And I dove in, hoping it would workout 😅
I’ve made some beautiful blankets in the past, however, recently God has challenged me to create some of my absolute favorites.
This one is extra special! It pulls on my heart strings, and shares in some of my joyful memories of my past.
