Fresh seafood is obviously a highlight, and I indulged in some of the best ceviche and grilled snapper I've ever tasted. Don't forget to try some local Belizean dishes too; the flavors are bold and unforgettable. Evenings were spent enjoying breathtaking sunset scenes over the Caribbean Sea, often from a cozy beach bar with a refreshing drink in hand – pure bliss! If you're planning your own trip to San Pedro, I'd highly recommend visiting during the dry season, typically from November to May, for the most consistently sunny weather. However, the 'green season' can also be beautiful with fewer crowds. Pack light, bring plenty of reef-safe sunscreen to protect both your skin and the marine environment, and don't forget a good insect repellent for evenings. Embrace the laid-back pace, chat with the locals, and let the island's charm wash over you.
