Be the Blessing Someone’s Been Praying For 🙏🏾

Sometimes God’s provision comes from the most unexpected people and places. In 1 Kings 17, before Elijah ever met the widow of Zarephath, God first sent ravens to feed him while he hid by the brook. When the brook dried up, God did not forget him. He led Elijah to a widow, someone who had almost nothing left to give, and through her, God performed another miracle.
The widow was gathering sticks to prepare a last meal for herself and her son. Yet, even in her despair, she listened to Elijah’s word from the Lord. She gave what little she had, and God made it stretch. The flour never ran out. The oil never ran dry.
This story reminds us that God’s help may not always come from the places we expect. He can use anyone, anywhere, at any time to meet a need, lift a burden, or bring a miracle. The same God who provided for Elijah and the widow still provides for us today.
So if you are in a dry season, trust that God already has a plan in motion. And if you have something small to give, a prayer, a kind word, or a simple act of love, offer it freely. You might just be someone’s miracle in motion.
