My Victory Walk in Jesus
📖 TESTIMONY TUESDAY 📖
“He lifted me out of the pit of despair. He set my feet on solid ground.” Psalm 40:2 (NLT)
There is an anniversary I carry in my heart. March 17.
A day God pulled me back from the places I was losing myself. A day when I said yes to Jesus again. Not because I was perfect. But because I was desperate for Him.
I used to wonder why my life did not look like everyone else’s.
Why I wasn’t working.
Why doors didn’t open.
Why my path felt different.
Why me.
But today looking back I see it clearly.
God saved me from myself.
He saved me from comparison.
He saved me from chasing validation.
He saved me from believing I was behind.
He slowed me down so He could rebuild me.
He stripped away titles so I could rediscover my identity.
He removed distractions so I could hear His voice again.
My greatest accomplishment is not a job title, a position, or a paycheck.
My accomplishment is becoming who God always intended me to be.
🌿 A Mother’s Confirmation
This Monday morning before I even started my day, my mom sent our family group chat a devotional. She did not know what March 17 means to me. But God did.
Her message opened with this:
“Lord, I’m grateful that I can show my children where to turn in times of trouble. They don’t have to do it all themselves, because we are all Your children and all our help comes from YOU. Amen.”
Mama, you may not remember what March 17 means. But I do. You were on your knees praying for my return to God before I even knew I needed to return.
This one is for you. I love you. 💜
✨ A New Assignment
This past Sunday when the choir director stopped me and invited me to join I felt something shift. Not because of the invitation itself. But because it confirmed what God has been whispering.
Daughter, you are needed. You are called. You are seen.
My husband prayed for a schedule that would allow us to be in church together and God answered.
Now I am standing in a season where obedience is my offering and surrender is my strength.
God does not just save us to sit. He saves us to serve.
🦋 Devotional Thought
I do not need to compare my journey to anyone else’s.
I do not need to question what I do not have.
I do not need to chase what God never assigned to me.
I just need to walk boldly.
Use the gifts He placed in me.
Claim victory over my life, my health, my mind and my soul.
And celebrate the God who saved me for a reason.

Father, thank You for rescuing me, restoring me and redirecting me. Thank You for saving me from myself and for shaping me into the woman You always saw. Help me walk boldly in my calling, without comparison, without fear and without apology. Lead me into every assignment You have prepared. My life is Yours. My victory is in Jesus. Amen.

My victory is not coming. It is already here. I am walking in who God made me to be.
