THANKFUL THURSDAY 🦋

I am not waiting for the big breakthrough to be grateful. I am thanking God for every small victory right now.

We have been conditioned to celebrate the finish line. The big moment. The dramatic transformation. The before and after photo. The day everything finally comes together.

But God is in every single step between here and there.

And I am not going to miss praising Him for the small victories while I am waiting on the big ones.

I am thankful for the morning I woke up and chose to honor my body instead of giving up. That is a victory.

I am thankful for the moment I said no to what was not serving me. That is a victory.

I am thankful for the prayer that gave me strength when my flesh wanted to quit. That is a victory.

I am thankful for the one step forward when I could have taken two steps back. That is a victory.

I am thankful for the peace that showed up in the middle of the process. That is a victory.

Every small yes to God is a victory worth celebrating. Every single one.

Because the big breakthrough is just a collection of small victories that nobody clapped for. And God saw every single one of them. He counted every one. And He is faithful in every one.

“His master replied, well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness.” Matthew 25:23 (NIV)

Faithful in the small things. That is where the big things are born.
