WISDOM WEDNESDAY
Abigail did not wait for permission to walk in wisdom. And neither should you.
If you have never read Abigail’s story in 1 Samuel 25 stop and read it today. Because this woman is everything.
Her husband Nabal was foolish, prideful and reckless. His decisions put their entire household in danger. And instead of panicking or complaining or waiting for someone else to fix it Abigail moved.
Quickly. Wisely. Humbly. Boldly.
She did not have all the answers. She did not have a perfect situation. She did not have a supportive partner. But she had discernment. She had courage. And she had the wisdom to know when God was calling her to act.
So she acted.
And her wisdom did not just save her household. It changed the entire trajectory of her life. David himself said she was blessed. And eventually she became his wife.
That is what happens when a woman walks in wisdom even in the middle of a messy situation. God sees it. God honors it. And God opens doors that no amount of striving could have opened.
Your situation may be messy right now. The people around you may not be making wise choices. But that does not disqualify you from walking in wisdom yourself.
“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” Proverbs 31:26 (ESV)
Wisdom. Kindness. Even under pressure. That is Abigail. That is you. 👑
💛 Declare it today. I will not wait for perfect conditions to walk in wisdom. Like Abigail I move when God says move and trust Him with the rest.
